12 Days of Kindness. Day Four: Santa's Giving Elf

Santas giving elf.jpg

Write a note for each of your children from Santa’s Giving Elf. Leave it in their room, or under the tree, with a bag or box (something that would work well as a Santa sack). In the note, tell them that the Giving Elf is looking for as many toys as possible to give to children in need. Make sure they’re all in fantastic condition (as new) and not missing any parts. Ask the children to make the bags as full as they can, to make lots of children happy this Christmas. The children then leave the bags in a specific spot overnight and they magically disappear. You could leave a thank you note from the Giving Elf. Then take the bags to a nearby charity that’s asking for gifts. Please make sure that your chosen charity needs gifts at the time.

While you’re here, please have a nosy at our website and get a feel for what we do at our New Shoots Children's Centres. And please feel free to contact the centre nearest to you to have a look around. We would love to meet you and your whanau!
