Philippa Adamson - Teacher

My name is Philippa. I grew up in Taipa, spending much time outdoors and at the beach. Following school, I went to Auckland University, where I completed a Bsc majoring in Geography and Environmental Science. Having always loved coaching sailing, I decided to complete a graduate diploma in primary. After a chance encounter, I fell into the wonderful realm of ECE, which inspired me to complete a graduate diploma in ECE.

I enjoy teaching the older preschool children, walking beside and learning with them as they explore our exciting world. I believe all children are capable, and love supporting them and their whanau to achieve their dreams and aspirations. To me, childhood is a magical time, and I love helping make it that.

In my spare time, you will find me outdoors - sailing, walking, travelling, spending time with family, and building model yachts. I am excited to be working with everyone, and look forward to our journey together.
