Gretchen Ruiter - TEACHER

Grietje (Gretchen) started working with children in the Netherlands in 2001 and joined the team at New Shoots Matamata in July 2019.

“I find it a privilege to be part of children’s journey through life. Helping them on their way to grow into independent, creative and confident learners. I believe children should get endless opportunities to learn through play and be outside in nature.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my children, reading, and being outdoors.
