Charlotte was born in England and moved to Tauranga when she was four years old. She grew up in Tauranga studying her bachelor of Education specialising in Early Childhood through the University of Waikato at the Windermere campus. She has five years of experience working in early childhood and a year in child protection. Charlotte loves the outdoors and nature, going to the gym, cooking and travelling and is always on the lookout for her next trip.

Charlotte has had a passion for working with children from a young age and enjoys building relationships with whānau. She sees children as unique individuals and working in the Kea room prioritises giving children time to work through their learning and developmental milestones. New Shoots is a supportive environment where the natural resources are used for children's learning. Charlotte sees this as an important part of children's learning as she has had experience in a nature-based kindergarten before and loves utilising the environment as a third teacher.
