Tauranga Certified Teachers

New Shoots Tauranga’s enrolment has grown. We are now looking for more teachers to join our team! Our team is our family, we work in an environment where we lift each other, support one another and have fun together. We want someone who will fit into our family unit and love our tamariki as much as we do.

We offer our very own Born to Play sessions – a sport and movement programme that supports children as they hone their physical skills alongside social and emotional competency.

At New Shoots Tauranga, we pride ourselves on forming warm and loving relationships with our tamariki and their whānau. We take an unhurried approach to children’s development, knowing that play-based learning in a home-like environment is where they thrive.

If you are:

  • A qualified ECE educator with provisional or full registration OR almost qualified
  • Experienced in working with preschool aged tamariki
  • A kaiako that loves to set up engaging, thought provoking activities
  • Experienced in Te Whariki, RIE/Pikler, Howard Gardner theories
  • Ready to join a team that supports, encourages, and has a blast together.
