Set on a rolling green hill, over a bridge and across a pond, arriving at New Shoots Greenhithe feels a little like a fairy tale. Found in a suburban North Shore neighbourhood close to Albany, our beautiful purpose-built Greenhithe centre was designed to bring in the morning sunshine, energising the space from first light. Inside, the sounds of giggles and gasps filter through the air as our tamariki play and explore.
Here, wonder and curiosity are our currency. From our nourishing food to responsive teachers, sustainable resources to a calming colour palette, everything plays a role in supporting your children along a path of genuine and joyful self-discovery.
Our centre comprises three separate pods – perfect for our three age groups – linked together by a veranda and a central courtyard.
Here you’ll find the most magical outdoor area, complete with sandpits and slides, play decks and plants, to inspire and empower children to become their truest selves. By rejuvenating the neighbouring pond, our children have the opportunity to connect with the local landscape and wildlife, including protected lizards and birds. Through spontaneous excursions and access to a generous viewing window, tamariki can observe all that nature has to offer right here in our own backyard.

New Shoots operates as a full day service and do not offer short days or sessions;
Our fees include high quality teacher ratios above Ministry of Education Standards;
Minimum enrolment is two days per week; A $50 enrolment fee will be due upon enrolment to confirm your place;
Two weeks notice is required when terminating enrolment; 10% discount is applicable to your eldest child’s fees if you have two or more children attending New Shoots full time;
Nappies and food are provided; and Formula is not provided – this must be brought in from home if required.
