Shaping a strong future for your tamariki inspires us to reduce the social, environmental, and ethical impact of New Shoots Children’s Centres.

Credible supply chains and a curriculum infused with sustainability means your tamariki will blossom into nature’s guardian.

Nurture through nature

Curated with care

Our kaiako passionately curate our resources, building a unique, high-quality, toxin-free collection you can trust. These include BPA-free, phthalate-free, lead-free wooden cots, equipment, and high-quality toys that use natural dyes and oils.

You’ll also find many natural materials: stone,  metals, wood, clay and plants, plus second-hand and repurposed items.

Toxin-free cleaning

Carefully thought-out cleaning systems reduce your child’s risk of coming into contact with toxins and chemicals. One of the product ranges we use is from New Zealand’s Ecostore including nappy balm, body washes, laundry powders and dishwashing liquids. The Ecostore is certified as Child Labour Free.

Clean living and award-winning
